Genie from California
Genie is an 18 year California girl with a history of goal setting and achieving them! She is currently studying Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology and practicing long hours so she can audition for “So You Think You Can Dance” and her college dance team. This formal Miss California Teen USA participant works at Abercombie and also volunteers working with kids. Genie shops at the Rite Aid down the street from her house and buys everything from ice cream to cosmetics there and loves her Wellness Plus card. Her great grades led her to being in the National Honor Society during high school. She was also on the Cheer Team, a member of student government, the Spanish Honor Society and a high school Ambassador as well.

My name is Genie, well technically. My real name is Caratpetr. What a long weird name right? Well that's because it's Thai, but everyone just calls me Genie. I'm Thai, Chinese, and Portuguese. I love being multicultural because it really allows me to see the world through many lenses not just one. Because of this I love to travel. I hope to be able to visit every single continent by the time I'm 25 years old. So far I have down North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. I love picking up on new ideas from places I have traveled - such as hairstyles and recipes. I really try to incorporate worldly attributes into my style. I never limit myself and am always looking for a new way to wear a pair of vintage jeans or putting together bold colors that seem to be complete opposites. In addition to traveling, I also have a passion for dancing. I have been dancing since I was 3. At first I hated it. I would cry and refuse to go to classes, but around the time I was 10 something clicked and I have loved dance from then on. My favorite styles are ballet and lyrical. Dancing is the main reason why I know how to style my hair and do my makeup. I am always curling my hair or trying new ponytails. With my makeup I love to play around with eye shadows. I have so much eye shadow it's unbelievable. However, because I have to put on makeup for dance recitals, I know that heavy makeup can really take a toll on my skin. I am always making sure that my skin is hydrated and exfoliated. Lotion and sunscreen are super important for fresh looking skin. This is why I believe I should be the Rite Aid Glam Camp Model. I am constantly updating my style and taking care of not only my skin but my whole body in general. Beauty and health definitely go hand in hand.
